My glass journey began with exploring how to create patterned fused glass and piece it together to resemble quilts.
I have always been influenced by intricate geometric designs and color exploration, incorporating a love for quilting, textiles and bright colors inherited from my mother, who was an avid quilter and maker.
For the quilt series, I enjoy creating custom “fabrics” with paints or powders that are fired in the kiln before being cut apart and “stitched” back together.

Taking the fused glass quilts a step further, I began incorporating additional techniques to created pieces reminiscent of woven textiles.
