The community mosaic mural created during the 2024 Michigan Glass Project was a collaborative effort between Carrie Strope and the event’s organizers. Artists were invited to contribute glass inclusions for the mosaic, which was assembled by attendees over the course of the three-day music and art festival fundraiser. In June, hundreds of participants worked together to fill in the design, while additional volunteers completed the grouting and preparation for installation in September as part of the Murals in Islandview festival in Detroit, Michigan.
